“Borders Has Talent” contest. Justine sang
one of her own compositions to wow the judges and take first prize from a very
talented group of finalists including two of our youngest performers Eryn Rae
who played the fiddle like an old hand and Sam Johnston who gave us a crowd
pleasing rendition of Queen’s “Don’t stop me now”. So have you
got what it takes to charm and thrill audiences at this years St James’ Fair?

auditions, which will be held at the British Legion Club, Kelso on Saturday
20th August. The St James’
Fair Organisers said, “It doesn’t matter whether contestants are magicians,
singers, dancers or story tellers, we are looking for the performer who has that
certain something and can capture an audience’s imagination”. The auditions
are limited to the first 40 applications received with the best 12 acts going
forward to the finals, which take place on the main stage at St James’ Fair,
Kelso over the 3rd and 4th of
September. “Borders Has
Talent 2011” is open to non-professional musical and novelty acts of all ages.

posted and reach the organisers by 1st August
2011.
